Camping

We went camping for a night in the Uintas with some friends of ours. It was beautiful, and we had the whole place to ourselves. In other words, it was just us and the mountains, no potty! :)

On our way home we took a drive and found some amazing wild flowers. Too bad we were not exactly dressed for portraits!

Summer project

There always has to be one or two projects going on at our house. The big one for this summer was our back patio. Ryan worked hard to clear the weeds, rocks, and grass to prep it all.

Some guys from work helped him frame it.

Other guys from work helped finish it and stamp it.

The finished product! Now we can add patio furniture to "the list"!

Beach and Baseball

We spent the day after Disneyland playing at a beach right by Laguna called Salt Creek. It was a nice hot day, perfect for splashing around.

That night we went to the Angels/Mariners game. Ryan thought it was high time Tate went to his first MLB game!

The night ended with an Angels win and even fireworks!

The kids just had their first Disneyland experience and LOVED it!! We went with some fabulous friends of ours from Arizona and their 3 kids. It was a whirlwind trip and fun, fun, fun!
We were at the parks from 8am to midnight. Just wanted to get our money's worth!

Tate was so excited to see Woody and Jessie he gave them both hugs and kisses!

This is It's a Small World, but Ruthie rode all of the big rides too. Her very favorite was Splash Mountain. She went twice and rode on the very front, arms up in the air!

We all loved Astro Blasters with Buzz.

The 2 princesses off to the lunch. Ruthie had to wear her Cinderella costume and have her hair done like Cinderella for the lunch. Too bad the only princess not there was Cinderella!

We ended the night watching the new World of Color at California Adventure. It was very worth keeping the kids up so late to see. I forgot to take pictures of it, just some video. Trust me it is amazing!

We are Family

Since we had my whole family together for the first time ever (with all of the in-laws and grand kids) we had pictures taken in May. They turned out pretty cute. Especially considering the size of the group!
