T Turns 2

Tate's 2nd birthday fell on Black Friday this year. We couldn't decide what to do for it, so we ended up with a very last minute get together with a couple of his friends. My favorite highlights were both blowing out the candles. First, Mikelle blew out the candles before Tate could.:) Then after re-lighting them Tate gave a few weak blows and then blew a big drop of spit with the last big blow. We designated that half of the cake 'the Bevans' .

Girls Night

Ruthie and I went on a date to see Disney on Ice-Princess Classics. It was actually a quadruple date with Emily, Mikelle, Hinckley and their moms too. All of these little princesses had so much fun watching the show!

Obviously not at a skating show. This was Joy School at my house a couple of weeks ago. The kids were Indians for the letter I. Just too cute!

Part III: NYC

Last part of the trip, I swear! We took a day trip with Krissi and Emery to Manhattan. It was well worth the time! I think we sure saw a lot in 10 hours for having 3 little kids tagging along. This was the view driving down.

The first site was the Temple downtown.

It was awesome to see the angel Moroni rising up in the middle of the city.

Next was a lovely picnic in Central Park. Sorry Em, no peanut butter for you today.

The Central Park skating rink was already open. Ryan and I did skate there when we went 5 years ago.

Tate tried out this bat in a souvenir shop. Of course, Ryan bought it for him!

And of all people to run into, Mickey Mouse. My kids were thrilled!

Tate played computer games at the Apple store. FAO Schwartz closed at 7pm so we missed it by 15 minutes! Apple was the next best thing for the kids.

I realized after looking through all the many pictures that I didn't have any of my cute brother. So here is the one I found, Landen drying dishes while watching football. Sorry, my bad.

I have to say this trip was so much fun for me!! It makes me wish we lived a whole lot closer to each other! I love you guys! I am so lucky to have a brother and sister as amazing as you! I am excited for the next reunion of the "big kids".
