Easter photo shoot attempt

Since we have church at 9 am, pictures had to wait until afterwards. This meant we had approximately 30 seconds of cooperation from the bunch.

Here is the winner! It'll do. 

We thought about getting all 5 of us...this is all we got. 

Cheese! The single shot attempts. I literally could only get 1 shot of each kid before they were on the move. 

It was a happy Easter! We had Aunt Suzanne and Aunt Lizzie up for dinner that night. We love those girls!

San Francisco Surprise

Ryan pulled off a huge surprise for our 9th anniversary! He arranged everything for us to go on a weekend trip to San Francisco with some friends. None of us had been there so it was one new fun thing after another. 

First, we rode the cable car to meet up with Fred and Meili.

Our next stop was Fisherman's Wharf for some clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls. Mmmmm!

It was raining our whole first day, we just made the most of it. 

The sea lion didn't seem too excited about his party. 

We tried out some chocolate cupcakes filled with caramel and a big fudge sunday at Ghiradelli Square. 

Ryan wanted to see if the water was cold. Yeah, it was. There were tons of crazy people swimming in it though. Brr!

Day 2 started at Alcatraz

There were great views of San Fran from the island

The wind and rain didn't do much for either of our hair. :)

We took another ferry to Sausalito. It was a cute town with fun shops. We had some great seafood at a little place right on a dock. 

Had to watch some brave souls drive down Lombard street. 

Our hotel was right next to China town. This was the 2nd floor entrance. 

We had so much fun! Thanks to all the friends and family that helped out with our kids!

Ski/Snow Pros

 I love skiing March 31st when its nice and warm out!

 Steven and Grandpa Bevan joined in the fun. 

 Earlier in the month the kids hit the slopes friends.

 There isn't as much snow as last year, but still plenty to play in!
