Christmas 2010

Christmas is even more magical with little kids and a new baby around! We had 2 family Nativities.
The Bevan Family: Luke was the babe in a manger (or car seat whatever).
Cousin Matt was a wise man bearing the gift of his insulin pump! (Favorite moment:))
Megan and Tate
Angel Ruth is peeking out somewhere in there
The Davis Family: My shepherd and angel
Mary, Joseph and an angel Nana
Choir of angels
Wise Guys
Christmas Eve we had Ryan's Grandparents over for dinner. Then a low key night with Christmas movies and books. And of course, new jammies!

This is as good as it gets with all 3!
Christmas Morning aftermath
I caught a smile from little Luke.
I was having flashbacks of this little guy (Tate) on Christmas morning 3 years ago!
Luke seemed to enjoy just taking it all in this year. Next year we will be hanging the ornaments higher to keep them away from him!

Nana Bevan and Ryan's Birthday (30!)

Ryan's mom came up from Arizona when Luke was a week old. It was just wonderful to have her here! I got to sleep in and have wonderful breakfasts every morning! She even watched all 3 kids so Ryan and I could go on a date! Thank YOU!

For Ryan's 30th birthday he celebrated by skiing the weekend before at Brighton with some friends and family. And then again on his birthday at Snowbird. The kids and I hung out with Amy, Jordan, and Grandma and Grandpa Bevan at the cabin while they skied.
Jordan built a sweet snow cave for the kids!

Each time Tate would sled he'd say, "I'm brave!". Last year he wasn't such a fan.
Here's the birthday boy! 30 looks good on you babe!
I did not get a picture with the candles lit because a little person blew them out for him. :) That night we had a few friends up to the cabin for dinner. Thanks for making the trek, it was fun!

Christmas Dance Recital

3 Days after Luke was born Ruthie had her first real dance recital. I wanted to go so badly. My mom was wonderful and volunteered to stay in the car with the baby. I am so glad I could go! Ruthie was, in my humble opinion, the star! They danced to Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
Her 'You'd better not pout' face.

Just a fun picture:
This snowman family (with 3 kids) was made by the kids and Nana the day I came home from the hospital. Too cute!

Luke-Week One

Updating the blog has been on my to do list for 2 weeks. Finally! It has been a little busy with a new baby, Christmas time, and Ryan being out of town for a week. Here is a little glimpse of Luke's first week.

Meeting the brother.

Nana Tutt and Laurie came to help while Luke was born.

The first thing Tate wanted to do when we brought Luke home was take a picture.
Laurie loved holding him too!
I had to document the kids sharing their dart guns with the baby!
