Halloween in Neverland!

We went with a Peter pan theme for the costumes this year. Ryan was supposed to be Smee and I was going to be Wendy. Unfortunately, I did not have our costumes ready before our trip to Arizona and we decided to stay an extra day down there. Pulling into the driveway at 4:30 did not leave time.
Enjoy our Tink, Peter and Hook though!

I love this face! He was chasing after his friends.

Fall Ball

We had a ball filled October with both t-ball and itty bitty football. Tate loved playing both with his best buddies. It was fun for me to watch some of the games when Ryan was there. Ruthie would play with the other big kids and Luke would steal the other babies toys and sippys. He crawled on the field too, he wanted to play ball so bad! Just 2 more years pal!

Itty bitty football was as adorable as it sounds! Each day the boys did 5 or 6 different football training drills. It was heaven!

The push ups were awesome!

Turning 6 is ... Pinkalicious!

My little girl turned 6 in October! We started celebrating a week before with our new birthday countdown board. Ruthie had fun picking something to eat each day and a fun activity to do.
She decided she wanted a Pinkalicious party, based on the cute book. It was a fun theme with everything pink and cupcakes!

We really lucked out and had gorgeous weather that day! First I read the girls and Tate the story.

They ate pink food, which I must not have taken a picture of.

Tate was a good sport to hang with all the little ladies
The girls decorated crowns and wands
Ryan added his own personal touch and played football between games ;)

My version of the pinkalicious cupcakes
We attempted, but never got a picture of the candles lit or being blown out due to the wind factor. We did all sing Happy Birthday!
We sure love you Ruthie-roo!

Mary Poppins-Practically perfect in every way

I took Ruthie to see Mary Poppins when it came to Salt Lake in September. We had a double date with her cousin Bella and Ryan's Aunt Karen, Bella's Grandma. The girls had fun dressing up and going to a fancy dinner at Olive Garden before the show. It was such a cute production and kept the girls thoroughly entertained! I loved having a great time with me and my girl!

Sunflowers

The beautiful sunflowers have been a bloomin here for the past few weeks. I decided to take the kids out one night and attempt to take some pictures. This is what I ended up with.

Kindergarten

Even though Ruthie is almost 6, I still can't believe she's in Kindergarten! She's my little girl! I have been asked if I was emotional the first day of school. I really wasn't simply because it was complete chaos at the kindergarten entrance at the school. There were 75 kindergarteners and most of their parents posing for pictures, waving, etc. It was mostly entertaining! Ruthie held the door for her whole class to go inside. She looked a little nervous, but that was the extent of it. She loves school and making friends and the monkey bars. That is the high point of school each day. She thinks homework is the worst part of school. That's my girl! :)

As much as I love going to the cabin in the winter, I LOVE the cabin in the summertime. This is precisely why. It is just beautiful out and perfect for hiking, walking, biking, exploring, etc. We have been able to go up a couple of times. We made it all the way to the top of the Lake Solitude trail in August with Ruthie and Tate hiking on their own 2 legs!
Smores anyone?

I am glad the kids get time with the Bevan Great grandparents.
We found snow mid-July. Ryan couldn't resist a slide
