Part II : Connecticut

After our Boston adventures we headed to New Haven, Connecticut for a few days. We got to see some gorgeous fall scenery, play with baby Emery (and her mom and dad), and tour around a bit.

Krissi caught this shot. I love these boys!

East Rock Park. It was a bit windy, but check out that view!

New England in the Fall: Part 1-Boston

Our trip to the east coast to visit my brother and sister and their families has been booked since April. We excitedly waited and and it lived up to all expectations! We had enough days of nice weather to tour around and enough cold, rainy days to relax and enjoy each others company. Since I have a ridiculous amount of pictures, I am breaking this down so as to not overwhelm anyone! Boston was our first stop. We stayed for 3 days and visited with my brother Landen, his wife Kristen and their cute girls. They are there for dental school.
The beautiful Acorn Street on Beacon Hill. I love the cobble stone street.

Tate was a little exhausted after the 4 hour flight . He slept for a good half an hour on the table at the airport.

The true view!

Paul Revere's House

The kids had to try looking through these soldier faces. A little creepy but it makes me laugh.

Lil' Piper. She is the best baby! Especially while trooping around for days.

We hit the Boston Children's Museum. It was huge and fabulous!

Our All-Stars

Ryan, Ruthie, and I had our first taste of real, fresh cannolis. Mmm!

Kristen was nice enough to share hers!
(Side note: We got to drive together the whole time since Ryan worked a deal with the car rental place and got us a mini van for $20 a day!)

The State Capitol

No caption needed! A must see for Ryan.

Ruthie and Piper. We have lots of cute pictures being edited for Christmas cards by Kristen. She does great work! This shot is mine.

Krissi and Dallen came up for a day. During the BYU game the girls made bows...

And the guys watched the, not so hot, game. Everyone was happy!

Halloween 2009

My Cinderella and my doctor-prince (as Ruthie called him)

Daddy took the kids out first. It was nice enough to ditch the jackets!

The kids always love trick-or-treating at Ryan's office.

Ruthie had a Halloween parade and performace at pre-school.
