"Fairy Prince--"

Ruthie loved her Halloween costume this year! She insisted she was a "fairy prince." Apparently the last syllable of princess is just a little much for her! She did get to wear the costume for a ward party, a neighborhood party, and trick-or-treating at Ryan's work all before Halloween night! She obviously made out pretty well for a 2 year old. Mom and dad will help with that!

Bedhead

This is our princess in the morning. She gets the most amazing bedhead with her curly hair! But the extreme hair makeover is quick and beautiful!

Ruthie's 2!

I cannot believe Ruthie is already 2! Of course, the fact that we are having a baby soon makes me glad she is. We intended to go to a big aquarium on Saturday since Nemo and Ariel are her favorites. She would not nap all day, so by the time we drove to see the fishies she was sound asleep an wouldn't budge for anything! Another time. Sunday we had a small party with Ruthie's Aunt Amy and Aunt Suzanne. She loved all of her presents. Books, DVD's, a tricycle, an airplane, Ariel shoes and a princess wand. Thanks everyone!

Yeah, it's a basketball

This picture is being posted by request, not by my own wishes. I'm getting to that point where I can't believe I am actually going to get bigger for 6 more weeks! I really do love being pregnant though. It is all for a great cause!

Fall!

This is one of the seasons I never really experienced in Arizona. I now LOVE fall! These pictures are from Little Cottonwood Canyon the first weekend of October.

Labor Day Weekend

We had an eventful weekend starting with the BYU vs Arizona game. Ruthie came and enjoyed the fun. She loved cheering and she does a mean cougar growl! We went up to beautiful Bear Lake with Ryan's Davis family Sunday night and Monday. As you can see, Ruthie had a great time in the water, but the life jacket was pure torture on the boat! Not even Ariel made it bearable!

"Potty Training"

There is a reason that "potty training" is in quotes. It has been almost a month since we invested in a quite versatile and even musical potty for Ruthie. The good news is that she sits on it 5-10 times a day. The bad news, we have yet to see anything go into the potty. Most of my days are spent chasing a naked girl around the house. She strips down to nothing the minute she goes in her diaper. We just need to find a way to get her on the pot 1 minute sooner! Suggestions? Her favorite thing to do with the potty is take the seat off, put her face through the middle and say "Hello, mom!" Gross! It would be worse if she had ever actually used it as a toilet. Sorry for the ever so exciting potty rambling, but I know you moms will relate! Speaking of streakers... gotta run!
