December

I apparently didn't take many pictures this Christmas season. They are all going to make it into one late post!
Ryan picked out our tree this year. Ruthie and I like the trees that look fake, and Ryan likes the tall, less bushy trees. Girls get to pick next year. :)  It looked a lot better decorated than I thought. Notice the messy tree skirt and ornaments on the ground. That is how it always looked with Luke around.
Our Christmas card garland
Christmas party at Kim and Derk's. That is a lot of kids!
Santa and Mrs. Claus came to my work Christmas party!
Luke didn't last long before he dove off of Santa's lap back into Daddy's arms.

Our traditional Nativity
Ruthie was excited to be Mary, but more excited to hold baby Jesus (Grace)!
Sleepy faces Christmas morning

Christmas day afternoon we played did a lot of dancing with the Wii at Grandma and Grandpa Davis'. This was our favorite guys only number!

December 26th we left early for Arizona. We love seeing the temple lights there too!
Ruthie coordinated with this area so well!
She loves hanging out with Aunt Laurie!
Laurie let Ruthie try out her new tag-along bike with Ryan.
Our Bro-in-law David Blake made several incredible bulletin boards for family Christmas gifts. (Ours is the black and white one on the right) We are happy to benefit from his talents!
Aunt Suzanne is back from Italy!!!! The kids loved seeing her and making her dress up crazy and play games. What a good sport she is!
We all got to meet handsome Spencer, my sister Amy's 5 month old for the first time.
The Bevan cousins hanging out after family pictures.

Salt Lake Temple Lights

It has been a few years since we had ventured over to see the lights at Temple Square. They are breath taking! We found a perfect, not too cold night to go. We have been spoiled going to see the Mesa Temple lights in 55 degree weather too much!

Luke sported his sweats over the pj's look. He was fascinated with all of the twinkling lights.

Tate was not in the mood to walk, so he rode in the stroller all night. He's holding 4 fingers up because we were teasing him about being too old to ride!

Luke's 1st Birthday

How happy does this face make you!? Luke turned 1 on December 1st!
I took the kids to the zoo since it was a free day and wasn't too cold. Luke growled at all of the animals from monkeys to giraffes and had a lot of fun!

We celebrated low key at home. It is just 4 days after Tate's birthday!
He loved this laptop soo much he's drooling!

He wan't too excited about sitting down until the cake came!

Tate and the Neverland Pirates

This handsome guy just turned 4!

He requested a pirate party of course!

The little pirates played pin the flag on the treasure map.

Next was pop the cannon ball. They were too little to pop the balloons by sitting on them, so we got out pens to help out!

Argh!

The pirate ship pinata was filled with treasure!

I love that all of the kids have to be right up in the action for present opening.:)

"Happy Birthday to you!"

Good to the last lick!

You're an awesome kid Tate! We've loved every bit of these last 4 years with you!

Halloween in Neverland!

We went with a Peter pan theme for the costumes this year. Ryan was supposed to be Smee and I was going to be Wendy. Unfortunately, I did not have our costumes ready before our trip to Arizona and we decided to stay an extra day down there. Pulling into the driveway at 4:30 did not leave time.
Enjoy our Tink, Peter and Hook though!

I love this face! He was chasing after his friends.
