March Joy School

Joy School was at my house for the letter 'W'. We had a Wild West day. I thought these pictures of the kids riding the horse and shooting the target with a water gun were too cute!

The next week they made a xylophone for 'X' that was a hit!

February in a nut shell

I just realized the month is almost over and no blog posts yet!
Mostly what that means is we had a low key February. We spent Valentine's Day at the cabin with Ryan's grandparents. The highlight of the day was skiing for a couple of hours while the kids played with grandma and grandpa. Ryan took Ruthie again in the afternoon so she could show her great grandparents her moves.
We had pink grapefruit for Valentine's breakfast.
If you look hard we also had heart shaped pancakes and sausage!
The rest of the month was spent here at Jump and Bounce. We bought a month pass when they were on sale. It was the best $25 I've spent.
The kids loved having a fun way to get the wiggles out when it's cold out.

Luke hangs out in his car seat or the sling while the big kids play. He is the best baby!

Snow, snow fun!

Another weekend at the cabin led to some fun new snow activities!
Climbing the snow covered boulder and making a slide down it.
Loving the fresh powder!
We should have brought a basketball, Roo could dunk from there.
Jumping off the back deck.
Or sliding off the deck!
High fives after a face plant off of the swing.

Mom and all of the kids!
Posing
Skiing! Ruthie borrowed Ryan's goggles since it was snowing quite a bit :) She LOVED going again!
Amy + Luke= blue camo
The kids thought Luke would like being buried in the snow, maybe not.
2 weeks ago we went up to Heber and saw the amazing ice formations again. We may have to back when they get even bigger.
The real reason we went to Heber was to hit the Friday night seafood buffet at the Zermatt Resort with Dave and Carissa. If crab legs and coconut shrimp and teriyaki salmon are your thing, YUM! Luke came with us and slept through the whole thing. Thank you baby.

Starting Them Young

The kids are definitely aware where the family allegiances stand. We had to get Luke involved in the Cougar club early too! At 5 1/2 weeks he went to a BYU basketball game with the family. BYU won!
Tate's favorite part was eating tons of licorice and spotting Cosmo the mascot in the crowd.
Ruthie was in a great mood for most of the game. This is the happiest shot I got of her!
Luke slept quite a bit, especially considering the volume in there.
Once he woke up he played with Amy and Jordan.

Afterwards we went over to Amy's. I think this is such a cute picture of T. Ryan says he looks like a cute little punk!

Luke's Baby Blessing

Luke was blessed on January 2nd. It worked out for our parents to both be here since they were bringing our sisters up for school. We had lots of family and friends that were able to make it! We are so blessed to always have such wonderful support.
